Michigan Abolitionist Project

Bio

I am the executive director of the Michigan Abolitionist Project (MAP). MAP works to prevent and end human trafficking through education and by engaging the community to use their resources and talents to address this issue. I am also a commissioner on the Michigan Human Trafficking Commission and participate with the federally funded Joint Anti-Trafficking Task Force (JATT) of southeast Michigan. I have over 25 years experience in both non-profit and business environments.

The Michigan Abolitionist Project has a growing number of Community Groups (now 15 groups) launched across Michigan.  These groups are led by volunteer teams and they provide ongoing education and service projects to address human trafficking in their communities.
